How will the Cleveland Browns do in their final eight games of 2020?

If Cleveland Browns fans were asked whether or not they would take a 5-3 start to the season back in August, surely every one of them would have given an emphatic yes. Cleveland has not had a winning season since 2007, so getting five wins in the first half of the campaign puts them in an excellent position as they look to finally end that streak this season.

Having said all that, there’s some serious disappointment right now in Berea with where the Browns currently stand. That’s a testament to how much talent they have and how well they have played when everything is clicking for them.

We have seen this in their five wins but in their three losses, it’s been a different story. That was never more evident than when they lost to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8. A dreary game with horrible playing conditions went to Vegas as they ran the ball at Cleveland early and often in the game that was won by the road team by a score of 16-6.

After the game, fans were frustrated but not as much as players such as Baker Mayfield. The Cleveland quarterback said he and his teammates know they’re better than their record says they are. They understand that they could just as easily be 6-2 and that should motivate them to finish this campaign with the kind of focus they need.

With all that being said, we take the time afforded by this break at the bye week to look ahead to their final eight games and predict the Cleveland Browns final record in 2020.
