Daily Dawg Tags bring you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know

On Wednesday, Odell Beckham, Jr. celebrated his birthday as the Cleveland Browns star is turning 28-years old. He posted some photos on Instagram as he was celebrating and it was easy to spot a brace on his left knee.

Unfortunately, OBJ is still rehabbing from a torn ACL which will sideline him for the rest of this season. Without being able to play, it’s given him a lot of time to reflect and in one of the captions, he seems to be doing exactly that as he wondered aloud what was next for him.

OBJ likely means what’s next in his life but that won’t stop the speculation about whether or not he meant on the field. As far as that goes, general manager Andrew Berry continued to say that the star receiver is a part of their plans for years to come.

Those stories and more can be found in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.

"“’28 at midnight, wonder what’s nexts for me…,’ Odell said with a pic by celeb photog Julian Otavo hours before his birthday … showing the WR sporting a swaggy outfit with his new brace on his left knee.”"

OBJ shouldn’t be concerned about his future with the Browns. The team has plans for him and he’s going to be welcomed back with open arms when he’s fully healthy.

"“Odell is one of the best receivers in the NFL,” Berry said. “He played really good football for us before he was injured. He’s done a fantastic job with his teammates at practice. He’s embraced the organization. He’s under contract for multiple years.”"

Berry let it be known at one point that he doesn’t understand why the questions about Beckham continue to surface. He’s a star player who the team believes in but even Berry has to understand that until OBJ and Baker Mayfield get on the same page, the questions will continue.

Browns still dancing around Baker Mayfield question — Greg Joyce, NY Post

"“The true tell will come once Baker Mayfield is eligible for an extension, but for now, Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry is dancing around the question of whether Mayfield is their franchise quarterback.”"

Cleveland hasn’t had a true franchise guy since returning to the NFL in 1999 and after a great rookie season, fans were hopeful Baker Mayfield was going to be that guy. So far, he hasn’t solidified that but there’s still plenty to like.
