1. Mayfield plays clean again

Right now, it’s up in the air as to whether or not Baker Mayfield will be able to play on Sunday. Our final bold prediction is based on a belief that he will be able to suit up, although we won’t know with 100 percent certainty until Wednesday.

As for his play on the field, as long as Mayfield is able to go, he should have a good game, and for stat-box scouts, they would think it was a bounce-back game if he did. But for those who watched him play in Week 8, Mayfield was actually solid in their loss.

His numbers were pedestrian as he completed just 12-of-25 passes for 122 yards with no touchdowns but that’s quite a deceiving stat-line if we are being honest. Mayfield was actually in firm control of the offense and should have completely roughly five or six more of his throws had his receivers not had a case of the drops in this one.

More importantly, Mayfield had no turnovers on the day. That in itself was impressive given the nasty conditions, and hopefully, this weekend won’t be as bad weather-wise.

With that being the case, Mayfield should once again have a clean game with no turnovers, which will hopefully include no drops from his receivers.
