1. Get to Deshaun Watson

Deshaun Watson is the main indicator of whether or not the Texans are going to be competitive in a game. In their two wins, he had some of his best games where he threw for 359 and 281 yards. He also had a tough overtime loss to Tennessee where threw for 335 yards and 4 touchdowns. The entirety of the Texans’ offense flows through him.

Deshaun Watson has the ability to escape the pocket when plays break down and he is fast enough to convert a play that breaks down into a first down. Making sure that doesn’t happen will be big for the Browns if they are going to win this game.

Myles Garrett has also been nursing an ankle injury over the past couple of weeks but is expected to be back in full form Sunday. This will be vital if the Browns plan on slowing down the production of Deshaun Watson. Myles Garrett is currently tied with Aaron Donald for the most sacks in the NFL.

Garrett should also have the opportunity to get after Watson as Houston has allowed 24 sacks so far this season, or about 3 per game, which is near the most in the league. Larry Ogunjobi, Sheldon Richardson, and Olivier Vernon should also have plenty of opportunities to get to the quarterback during this game.

Sacks are one thing of the most lethal things when it comes to drive-killers. Getting to Watson often on Sunday could go a long way in securing a victory. Even if the Browns are unable to make the sack, just getting into the backfield and making life hard for Watson should pay off big time.
