The Cleveland Browns take on the Houston Texans at FirstEnergy Stadium

Week 10 is here and the Cleveland Browns (5-3) are fresh off their bye week and preparing to take on the Houston Texans ( 2-6). There will be no shortage of storylines here as the two teams have some connections to one another.

The most obvious is the current Houston interim head coach, Romeo Crennel who had two previous stints with the Browns — once as a defensive coordinator and then later as their coach. Crennel was even on the sidelines during the Browns’ last winning season in 2007.

In addition to that connection, there’s Nick Chubb and Deshaun Watson, who each team added with the other’s draft pick. Cleveland traded down in 2017 with the Texans who took Watson. Then in 2018, the Browns took Chubb with the selection they acquired in the Brock Osweiler salary dump.

All that should make the game fun, especially for the Browns who will finally have Chubb back and could see Wyatt Teller on the field as well. That should help as they look to move to 6-3 on the season.

Cleveland will have some of their players back but they know they will be without Chris Hubbard, who was placed on the COVID reserve list. This makes it even more crucial they get Teller back, because things are thin behind Hubbard.
