Greg Pruitt sees 10 or 11 wins on the season for the Cleveland Browns

A former Cleveland Browns running back is weighing in on the team after their recent win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Cleveland earned their second win in a row following their Week 9 bye and is now 7-3.

On top of that, the Baltimore Ravens lost to the Tennessee Titans which moved them to 6-4 — one game behind the Browns. Cleveland is now in second place in the AFC North and if the season were to end today, the Browns would be the sixth seed in the AFC.

But their work isn’t done yet, since there are still six games remaining. And former Cleveland running back Greg Pruitt not only likes what he has seen but also says the team can wind up with 10 or 11 wins on the season.

"“If they play 500, that’s ten wins. If they play a little better, that’s 11,” Pruitt said on FOX 8 Monday via Talia Naquin."

Pruitt makes it sound very simple saying they can go 500 and become a double-digit winning team, but it really is that simple. They also have three teams on the schedule who they should be able to knock off as long as they play to their best ability.

In Week 12, Cleveland plays in Jacksonville against the struggling Jaguars. That’s followed with two tough games against the Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens, but then there are back-to-back road games against the New York Giants and New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.

Cleveland finishes the season out at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but that game might not have a lot of stakes by the time we get there.

It feels weird and great at the same time to not only see the Browns winning, but to be doing so in such a sustainable way. They haven’t had a winning season since 2007, but are within striking distance of that and so much more.
