The Cleveland Browns look for win No. 8 vs. the Jaguars

Another week means another win for your 2020 Cleveland Browns as they moved to 7-3 following an impressive victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. The final score was 22-17 but it wasn’t that close as a late touchdown from Carson Wentz and the Eagles made it look more respectable on their end.

In the game, the Browns were strong in the trenches on both sides of the line. They ran the ball 40 times for 137 yards — with the majority of that coming in the second half as they entered the intermission with fewer than 20 yards. On defense, they were able to record five sacks on Wentz which affected his throwing. Wentz had two picks, and it could have easily been four or five had the Browns defensive backs had better hands.

Now, they look for another win as they leave Northeast Ohio for Jacksonville, Florida. There, they play the Jaguars who are struggling mightily this season. With that being said, we look ahead to this game with these five bold predictions for the Browns in Week 12.

5. Higgins walks the red carpet

Cleveland’s passing numbers in Week 11 were better than the prior two weeks, but they still weren’t mind-blowing. That could have, once again, been due to the ugly weather. Even so, the Browns had a couple of wideouts step up.

KhaDarel Hodge had 73 yards on three receptions and Rashard Higgins had 65 on as many catches. It was a solid performance from the two wideouts who often get forgotten about with the big names on this offense.

In Week 12, they should again see their fair share of targets and this first prediction is that Higgins gets into the end zone for the first time since Week 6 against Pittsburgh. When he does, we all will get to see the beloved red-carpet walk that ‘Hollywood’ delivers so well.
