Cleveland Browns bolster secondary in 2021 NFL mock draft at Week 12

The Cleveland Browns grab some DBs in this week’s mock draft
It’s no secret that the Cleveland Browns have one of the NFL’s worst defenses. That must change this offseason, and general manager Andrew Berry needs to add some playmakers to the secondary in the 2021 NFL Draft, especially with Greedy Williams still rehabbing a nerve injury, something that could be a long-term issue.
In this week’s Browns mock draft, Berry does exactly that.
We’ll be using The Draft Network’s simulator this week, which has Cleveland slotted at pick No. 24, a huge difference from what we’re used to.

Jaycee Horn CB
Scouting Report
Jaycee Horn has excellent genes, as his father is Joe Horn, who made four Pro Bowls as a wide receiver, predominantly with the New Orleans Saints. Jaycee chose defense, and it looks to have paid off. He was solid in 2019 and 2020 but cemented his status as a first-round prospect in 2020. He appeared in seven games before recently announcing his decision to opt-out of the rest of the season and prepare for the draft.
Horn’s statement game came against Auburn, where he covered the 6-3 Seth Williams like a blanket. Williams is an excellent prospect in his own right, and Horn showed he can hang with the best of them. Horn has NFL size at 6-1 and 205 pounds and is feisty and physical a corner as you’ll find. He’d make an excellent complement to Denzel Ward, and if Greedy Williams is able to come back healthy, the Browns will have a good problem on their hands.
