Cleveland Browns: 4 Instant reactions to lackluster win vs. Jaguars

3. Harrison Bryant has a forgettable afternoon
There are good games and there are bad games, and then there are games like the one rookie tight end Harrison Bryant had this afternoon. He saw only two targets on the afternoon, and both of those targets resulted in a negative ending for the former fourth-round pick.
To open the half, a drive where the Browns would have loved to have gotten off on the right foot, Mayfield hit Harrison for a 13 yard gain. However, at the end of the play, Bryant coughed up the football and gave the Jaguars the ball back with great field position on the very first play of the second half.
Bryant then had a chance to redeem himself at the goal line later in the half as Mayfield delivered a strike into a tight window. After initially making the catch, Bryant could not hold onto the ball all the way to the ground resulting in a drop. The Browns then had to settle for a field goal, giving the Jaguars a four-point swing.
While Bryant has been a pleasant surprise this season for the Browns, today will be a game he will want to bury deep down into the earth and never see again.
