Who were the studs and duds in the Cleveland Browns Week 12 win?

It wasn’t pretty, but the Cleveland Browns got the win on Sunday and moved to 8-3 on the season. With that, it means they will have their first non-losing season since 2007, even if the bottom falls out and they don’t win again for the rest of the year.

There’s not really a chance that this happens, but it’s a big accomplishment nevertheless. And while the Browns were favored in this one against the Jacksonville Jaguars, it came down to the final minutes of the game.

In the end, Cleveland held on for the 27-25 win and we look back over the game with our weekly studs and duds, starting with a name we continually see in these pieces, but in a new role.

Stud: Andrew Sendejo

Throughout this season, Andrew Sendejo has popped up as a dud. The Cleveland free safety has been beaten often and missed several tackles on the season and while he did whiff on one tackle in this game, he easily had his best outing as a Brown.

On an early drive, Sendejo broke up a pass play intended for wideout Keenan Cole in the end zone. He saved six on that one but he wasn’t done there. In the fourth quarter, Jacksonville pulled within two and went for the tie on a two-point conversion.

Quarterback Mike Glennon had to scramble due to the pressure and when he did throw it toward the end zone, Sendejo was there to catch the pass. His feet came down out of bounds but the important thing is, he got in the way of the pass and made sure his team would keep the lead.
