1. A monumental win

While the Cleveland Browns have had a strong 2020 season, they have only beaten one of the three teams they have played with a winning record. And it should be noted, the Colt’s best player wasn’t able to suit up when the Browns beat them earlier in the season.

In the teams other two matchups vs. teams with winning records the Browns have been demolished. In week one the Browns lost 38-6 to the Baltimore Ravens and in week six they lost to the Pittsburgh Steeler 38-7. Neither game was ever close and Browns fans were ready to shut the television off at the end of the first quarter in both.

So, this game is huge for two reasons. One, the Browns must show they can beat good teams to prove they deserve to be in the playoffs. Two, this team wants to revenge the week one beatdown of 43-13 they took in the 2019 season. As mentioned above, the Browns never recovered from the week one matchup last year.

This is a game many expect the Browns to lose, and that is exactly the kind of game they need to win after barely getting a win in Jacksonville. Expect the offense and defense to be in rhythm together for the first time all season, as the coaches will have it beat into their brain how important this game is.

It will take 30 points and at least two turnovers by the defense but look for the Browns to get it done next week.
