What do the Cleveland Browns need to do in order to beat Tennessee?

The last time the Cleveland Browns and the Tennessee Titans faced off, it was Week 1 of the 2019 season. The Browns were 5.5 point favorites going into the game after the acquisition of Odell Beckham Jr. and the endless potential that Baker Mayfield showed in his rookie season.

The game started off looking like the Browns would be the dominant team that they looked to be on paper after a four-yard rushing touchdown from Dontrell Hilliard. However, from there, the game got ugly fast for Cleveland.

Mayfield would finish the game with one touchdown and three interceptions, Nich Chubb would only have 75 yards on 17 carries, and Beckham Jr. would finish his debut on 71 yards. While Marcus Mariota threw for three touchdowns and zero interceptions, Derrick Henry ran for 84 yards and a touchdown, and A.J. Brown would torch the Browns for 100 yards on only three catches in his first game in the league.

Both the Cleveland Browns and the Tennessee Titans have improved since their meeting last season. Both sitting currently at a record of 8-3. The Titans are coming off of arguably the best game of their season. They decimated the Indianapolis Colts 45-26.

The Titans were clicking on all cylinders with Ryan Tannehill throwing for 221 yards and a touchdown. This was a respectable game from him, however, the Titans were carried by their workhorse, Derrick Henry. Henry could not be stopped even going against one of the best defenses in the league. Despite the matchup, Henry finished the game with 178 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries.

This will be the best team that the Browns have played since their matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It is a winnable game, however, there are three major things that the Browns must do to win against the Titans.
