Cleveland Browns seek revenge against Titans in Tennessee
By Josh Brown
1. Kevin Stefanski
Picking coach Stefanski as the biggest difference heading into Sunday is the no brainer of this exercise. He has shown poise, intelligence, discipline, and humility during his short tenure as the lead man, and his team reflects those traits. As a fan base, we can confidently say we won’t see an 18 penalty game or a force-feeding of 20-yard route trees.
We will see a team that is schooled well in what it wants to be. They will pound the ball at you with a two-headed monster and take their shots when they feel the time is best. We won’t see Myles Garrett out there punching another player regardless of the reasoning. This is not the same team that opened in 2019 in an embarrassing fashion. This is now Kevin Stefanski’s team, and they come prepared to play.
The Titans should expect a team that will play within itself and no longer beat themselves with antics and bad penalties. They will see a rushing attack that has smashed opponents and a passing game that feeds off of it, making big plays when needed most. They will see a more efficient Mayfield as he has not thrown a pick since his five-touchdown performance against the Bengals. In the end, this is just a more professional team with a more professional coach that wants to go out and win football games.
Now it is time to prove to the entire NFL that the Browns are legit playoff contenders by going out and taking it to the Titans. While the players may not say it, a little payback for what happened last year would make it just a bit sweeter.
