Three Instant reactions to Cleveland Browns upset win over Tennessee Titans

2. Another Baker Breakout Game!
Baker Mayfield really showed up to play this week against the Tennessee Titans, and he was the biggest reason the Browns were able to pull out this win. Baker’s stat line was 25-of-33 for 334 yards and four touchdowns, all of which came in the first half. His 75.8 completion percentage is the most by far this season he has had in games he has thrown over 30 passes. It is also the 2nd highest completion percentage he has had all season, the first being the 2nd Bengals game.
This was the first playoff-esque game that Baker has had in his career, as the Cleveland Browns were on the road against a great Tennessee Titans team with serious playoff implications on the line. With four games remaining, against the Steelers, Ravens, Giants, and Jets, the Cleveland Browns could seriously be looking at an 11-5 or even possibly 12-4 season, all thanks to Baker Mayfield’s improved decision making this season, along with coach Stefanski’s offensive scheme.
Today’s big performance should be the boost needed to get Baker Mayfield on track to have over 3,000 yards this season, as previously he was borderline going to hit that 3,000-yard mark. He has yet to miss it in his career, and it shows great improvement if he is able to reach it while cutting down the number of turnovers he commits.
While his fumble at the end of the game was costly, Baker still played lights out and might deserve AFC offensive player of the week for his performance.
