Touchdowns and Interceptions

"Week 16, 2019: 2 Touchdowns, 1 Interception Week 17, 2018: 3 TDs, 3 INTs Week 4, 2019: 1 TD, 1 INT Week 5, 2018: 1 TD, 1 INT Week 1, 2020: 1 TD, 1 INT Total: 8 Touchdowns, 7 Interceptions"

Baker Mayfield has thrown seven of his 42 career interceptions, 16.67 percent of them, in his five games against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens only account for 11.9 percent of the games he has played in, yet he has thrown 16.67 percent of his interceptions against them. He has yet to go a game without throwing an interception against the Ravens. Baker is currently on an impressive streak of passing attempts without throwing a pick, and that streak will surely be put to the test this week.

The biggest improvement Baker could show is if he doesn’t throw an interception against the Ravens. It seems that whenever he plays the Ravens he tries to play hero ball too much, which is why he is so turnover prone against them.

Baker has an interception percentage of 3.74 percent against the Baltimore Ravens. His interception percentage this season so far has been a career-low 2.1percent, so this is going to be the most interesting storyline among his statistics to track. Baker is going to throw a touchdown or two in this game, but the game will be won or lost based on how well he takes care of the football. Baker seems to be significantly better at taking care of the ball since his last meeting with the Ravens, so it will be exciting to see what he can do this week.
