Which players could hurt the Cleveland Browns as they aim for the playoffs?

For the first time since 2002, the Cleveland Browns look ready to make it to the postseason. They own a record of 9-3 with four games remaining, and two of the teams on that schedule have losing records right now.

That should help them lock up a spot soon, but nothing is guaranteed. And even if they get into the playoffs, there’s still work to do on this team.

Cleveland has a solid roster (evidenced by their impressive record), but it’s not perfect. There are holes, as many fans have witnessed this season, and they have had to find ways to work around that. Here, we look at the three biggest spots on the roster to be concerned with as the Browns prepare for a playoff run.

3. Larry Ogunjobi, Defensive Tackle

In all fairness to Larry Ogunjobi, he wasn’t supposed to be in the role he has been in. The fourth-year defensive tackle has been playing next to Sheldon Richardson, which has left him in the nose tackle spot. Originally, Andrew Billings was set for that job but when he opted out of the season, Ogunjobi had to return to the role he had in 2019.

As was the case that season, he’s had his flashes. Overall, Ogunjobi has 33 tackles and two sacks but he has also had his share of struggles. This stands out the most in the run game as he has had some problems there.

Come December and January, this can become a problem. Having said that, Larry O and the Browns defense did well against the Tennessee Titans, which is encouraging. The hope will be that they can grow from there because if not, that could be an issue.
