The Cleveland Browns need to pay attention to these Ravens

We are very far removed from September 13 when the Baltimore Ravens hosted the Cleveland Browns and blew them off the field 38-6. Both teams have looked drastically different since then and the Browns sit ahead of them in the division right now.

Cleveland has found their niche in running the football and throwing the ball off of play-action which has resulted in big plays. The Ravens offense on the other hand has appeared to have been figured out by the rest of the league because of their lack of weapons on the outside.

Kevin Stefanski has had an unbelievable first year in charge of the Browns, he has this team winning the games they are supposed to and improving every week. This week will put that improvement to the test as they face a team who put a beating on them to open the season.

3. Gus Edwards, RB

He doesn’t get much attention but Gus Edwards has quietly become the Ravens leading rusher, other than quarterback Lamar Jackson, in carries and yards. Edwards has 487 rush yards on 4.8 yards per carry and is tied for the team lead with four touchdowns.

Edwards is a downhill runner who was mainly known for coming in on goal-line situations and taking away touchdowns but this year he has been used more all over the field and he has shown his ability to run on any down.

He compliments Jackson well because Edwards can pound the ball in between the tackles and Jackson is always capable of keeping the ball and running outside for a big gain. It’s also hard to gameplan for because of how many different backs they can use.

J.K. Dobbins has played well in his rookie campaign, posting almost identical rushing numbers as Edwards and he has been used as the teams receiving back. He has 17 catches for 103 yards which leads all running backs on the team.

But Edwards has been the most consistent force for them this season and has a good chance of being the Ravens lead back
