Matchup No. 3: Jarvis Landry vs Marlon Humphrey

In what is sure to be a physical heavyweight slugfest, both the Browns and Ravens will be looking to set the tone. The Ravens employ two physical cornerbacks in Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters. It will be up to Jarvis Landry and Rashard Higgins to match and even exceed their intensity in order for the Browns to establish themselves as the hungrier team.

Humphrey and Odell Beckham Jr. had a building rivalry in their three previous meetings, and now it will be up to Landry to pick up where his best friend left off. Look for Juice Landry to be up to the challenge. It will get chippy at times, and chances are both players will have some yellow laundry thrown in their direction as a result. But sometimes it’s important to stand your ground when you are facing a bully.

This head to head competition will not be limited to the passing game and will be at its most contentious in the running game. Landry is an aggressive downfield blocker and that is where the tone of this game will be set. The touchdown that Landry catches on Humphrey Monday night will just be the icing on the cake.

The Browns feed off Landry’s energy because as we all know it’s contagious.
