The Cleveland Browns showed heart on Monday Night

The Cleveland Browns were all over the place on Monday Night Football. At one point they were down 14 with seemingly no chance. They clawed their way back, then last it again before coming back one last time. While it was unsettling for fans, one thing is for certain — Kevin Stefanski has this team going in the right direction.

Even though the Browns ended up losing a heartbreaking game on a last-second field goal, they showed heart and great tenacity to not let this turn into a runaway game. At one point in the third quarter, some fans may have even gone to bed. This was a tough loss, but if moral victories exist, this may be the perfect one.

The team now moves to 9-4 and prepares for the New York Giants in another prime-time Sunday Night slot. Before moving to next week, let’s take a look at the studs and duds from this week’s loss.

Dud: Harrison Bryant, Tight End

The Browns were high on their rookie tight end after training camp. Harrison Bryant even sent former first-round pick David Njoku to the third spot in the Brown’s first few depth charts. After a strong start to the season, it has been a disappointing few weeks for the big man.

Not only has Bryant been a below-average blocker in the running game, but he has also had a few crucial drops which all seem to come on third down. A couple of the drops have been rockets from Baker Mayfield, but still, balls that you expect NFL tight ends to come up with.

With the great corners of the Ravens, Bryant had a chance to shine on Monday Night Football but instead, he ended up being a dud.
