Week 17 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

This is the tough one to figure out. A few weeks ago, the Pittsburgh Steelers were undefeated and some pundits were asking if they could go 16-0. Then, they suffered a 23-17 loss to the Washington Football Team in Week 13 followed by a 26-15 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Suddenly, the Browns were gaining ground, and Monday night could have been huge for them as it would have kept them within striking distance of the Steelers in the AFC North. Now with Pittsburg playing Cincinnati this weekend, they will likely put enough space between them and the Browns to win the division — that win would give them the tiebreaker since Pittsburgh would have a better AFC North record.

Should that happen, there’s a chance the Steelers will have the division locked up and they might not really have much to play for in Week 17. Then again, the Browns are sitting at 11-4 in this prediction as they beat both New York franchises. So maybe they don’t have anything to play for.

Then again, Cleveland will still likely want to stick it to the Steelers and we have seen in recent weeks that this is a beatable team.

Having said all that, it remains close and as much as my heart wants to pick the Browns, this just seems like a game they won’t win just yet. Still, they finish with a great record and head to the playoffs ready to make some noise.

dark. Next. Loss to Giants could cost Browns playoff spot
