Week 15 score predictions: Cleveland Browns back in prime time
By Randy Gurzi
Can the Cleveland Browns knock off the Giants in Week 15?
Week 15 is here and the Cleveland Browns are close to securing a playoff spot. After missing out on the postseason every year since 2002, the Browns are knocking on the door with a record of 9-4.
At this point, it’s hard not to envision them getting at least 10 wins as they have back-to-back games at MetLife Stadium against the 5-8 New York Giants and then the 0-13 New York Jets.
Even with them being favored, they have to stay focused to avoid the dreaded trap game. Can they do that in the bright lights on Sunday Night Football? That’s the very question the DPD crew looks to answer here with our Week 15 score predictions.
Writer: Randy Gurzi
Summary: After losing to the Ravens in the final seconds, the Cleveland Browns now take on the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football. Look for them to have a bounce-back game under the bright lights as they get win No. 10.
Prediction: Cleveland 36, New York 21
Writer: Sam Penix
Summary: The Browns nearly pulled off the upset on Monday Night, and should have no trouble dealing with the G-Men on Sunday Night Football.
Prediction: Cleveland 34, New York 17
Writer: J.T. Soderlund
Summary: The Browns defense gets an easier game this week. They should easily stop the Giants offense whoever starts Sunday night.
Prediction: Cleveland 35, New York 10
Writer: Josh Brown
Summary: Browns’ defense has a bounce-back game against Colt McCoy and company leading to a big win.
Prediction: Browns 38, New York 13
Writer: Matt Mramer
Summary: The Browns haven’t had back-to-back losses all season, and this week is no different. With the Giants facing QB uncertainty and old friend Freddie Kitchens tabbed to call their plays on offense, Cleveland has no excuses for coming away with anything but a resounding win.
Prediction: Cleveland 31, New York 17
Writer: Dan Gilinsky
Summary: With Colt McCoy seemingly set to start for the G Men, the Browns will likely load up against the run and we’ll see McCoy classic four-yard tosses on 3rd and 7-plus. Cleveland offensively figures things out from there and keeps hitting chunks, and the special teams/kicking game bounces back.
Prediction: Cleveland 31, New York 20
Writer: Casey Kinnamon
Summary: The Browns have yet to lose back to back games this season. Look for that trend to continue as Stefanski, Baker and the Browns handle their business on Sunday Night Football.
Prediction: Browns 31 Giants 17
Writer: Elliot Kennel
Summary: Joe Judge is not Coach of the Year, Kevin Stefanski is. Daniel Jones is a good young quarterback but he’s hurt and their line gave up 8 sacks last week. Garrett and Vernon will nail him to the turf.
Prediction: Cleveland 30, Giants 17
