Cleveland Browns S Ronnie Harrison is off injured reserve

The Cleveland Browns have announced that Ronnie Harrison Jr. has been activated from injured reserve and is back at practice today.

Harrison played at about as high a caliber as you can when he went down with a shoulder injury.

After watching the secondary the last couple of weeks Browns, fans should be thrilled to see Harrison on the practice field.

Harrison has appeared in nine games for the Browns and started the last six before being injured. In that span, he has 31 tackles, six passes defended, one interception. That interception was a big one as he returned it for a touchdown against the Colts.

With news that Andrew Sendejo is on the practice field after a concussion, the Browns should get the starting secondary back for the Jets game Sunday and a potential division deciding game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Harrison is having the best season of his career and has only allowed an 88.7 QB rating when targeted per Pro Football Reference. Harrison has been a major disruptor all season for his new team, and the hope is he can stay healthy and continue to make a big impact helping the Browns get into the playoffs.

Browns have also added guard Michael Dunn

The Browns also announced that former Maryland Terrapin Michael Dunn has also been added to the roster. Dunn has spent time with the Rams and Jaguars practice squads but has not seen any NFL action in his career.

He was signed by the Rams in 2017 and has also played in the AAF with the  Birmingham Iron and the XFL with the Seattle Dragons. This move makes sense since Dunn has spent his entire season with the Browns practice squad.

He should know the system and provide depth behind (hopefully) Wyatt Teller and rookie Nick Harris with Chris Hubbard now out for the year.
