Daily Dawg Tags bring you al the Cleveland Browns news you need to know
It hasn’t happened since 2002 but it could finally take place this season. The Cleveland Browns are close to clinching their first playoff berth since that campaign and they can do so this weekend.
The best news is, all they have to do is not lose. The Browns will be in the postseason this year ‚ — and end the longest active drought in the league ‚— with a win or tie against the New York Jets.
Of course, they still have another chance the following weekend against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but they’re hoping that game is for more than that. Should Pittsburgh lose to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 16, the final game between them and Cleveland could end up being for the AFC North title.
The story on the Browns making the playoffs and more can be found in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.

Cleveland still owns the longest playoff drought in history but that ends with one more win. Or even a tie. Facing the 1-13 Jets, it almost feels like a given but we can’t get too confident just yet. But, let’s get ready to celebrate.
"“Janovich is one of nine, and that total grows to 12 — seven boys, five girls — when you count his three step-siblings — ‘Love them all to death, too’, he said. His father, Ron, is now a grandfather 30 times over with the 31st on the way soon.”"

Steelers-Browns could play back-to-back games — Mike Florio, Pro Football Talk
"“If the Steelers and Browns enter Week 17 at 11-4, the winner of their game in Cleveland will win the AFC North. Depending on the various other permutations in the AFC, the Steelers and Browns could square off in the wild-card round, too.”"
This isn’t an uncommon occurrence as teams have meant several times in Week 17 only to play one week later. For the Browns, it could be an interesting scenario since their lat playoff game was also against the Steelers, although that didn’t go their way.
