Browns per-snap analysis shows Nick Chubb, WRs standing out
Browns and Jets wide receivers per-snap analysis
As for wide receivers, the story here is that Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, and Donovan Peoples-Jones have matched up rather well to the performance of Odell Beckham, Jr. Their bottom-line numbers are not greatly different, and in fact, the catch percentage is actually higher for the less famous receivers.
Of course, it is matchup dependent, as OBJ and Landry normally draw the top defenders or double coverage.
As mentioned previously, Hodge is the wide receiver equivalent of a blocking tight end, and his true worth is not necessarily measured by the numbers he puts up.

The Jets have only Jamison Crowder who appears to put up consistently high YFSPS, though Browns fans remember speedster Breshad Permian lighting it up for the Browns in 2018. He should be a threat but has managed to fall short of his potential year after year.
Perriman was rumored to have been clocked at 4.25 at his Pro Day, depending upon who you believe. He’s fast, though, and yet strong and physical as well. But he does not always catch the ball, is not the greatest route runner, and is not always healthy. That shows up in lower-than-expected yardage totals throughout his entire career except when he was at Cleveland. He should probably try to come back if he knew what was good for him.
We shall see about him on Sunday. He’s definitely a threat, but he is usually not consistent.
Having strong-armed Sam Darnold chucking the pigskin might help the wide receivers. Overall, however, the Jets’ wide receivers are not as formidable as the Browns, at least on paper. Of course, they do not play the game on paper.
