1. A turning of the page

The biggest monkey that the Browns can’t seem to get off their back is beating the Pittsburgh Steelers. Last season they did win a Thursday Night game with Mason Rudolph as the starter, but they couldn’t even beat Duck Hodges in the second meeting of the year. For whatever reason, Browns quarterbacks can’t seem to play well vs. the Steelers defense.

Luckily, this game is at home, and there is a chance a few of the Steelers starters will rest as there isn’t much that can change for them with a win or a loss. The big question will be if Roethlisberger plays.  If he is out, the Browns will have zero excuses to not come away with a win.

Even better news for Browns fans, there is a new man in charge.  And although we fans have known nothing but pain for 20 straight seasons since the return in 1999, Stefanski is the man who will change all those thoughts. Think of the big leads this year that the Browns have had and gave up, they didn’t lose any of those games.  The old Browns for sure do.

Sunday vs. the Jets is another prime example of this team being different. The old Browns lose that game by 20, where these Browns came back and gave themselves a chance. They are one turnover and missed extra point away from a great comeback with half their offensive starters missing the game.

This week will be no different. After being embarrassed and ran out of the stadium earlier in the year, the Browns will show up to play. Stefanski will further cement that he is undoubtedly the NFL coach of the year.  And fans will finally stop thinking so negatively in games and trust that the coaching staff can handle anything.

Next. Week 16 studs and duds. dark

This game will be very close but look for the Browns to score just enough points to slip past the Steelers and make their way to the playoffs. They very easily could have to travel to Pittsburgh the next week to play the Steelers again once they seal this victory.
