These 4 players will decide the Cleveland Browns playoff fate

Win and they’re in. That’s the deal in Week 17 for the Cleveland Browns as they prepare to face the Pittsburgh Steelers at home in the final week of the season.

There was a time this game looked as though it could be for the AFC North, but that ship sailed when the Browns lost to the New York Jets in Week 16. It also wouldn’t have mattered in terms of the AFC North since Pittsburgh beat the Indianapolis Colts.

In the end, that wound up being a good thing since it means Cleveland can still get in with one win. It also means the Steelers have nothing to play for and will be resting their biggest starters.

Even with that being the case, the Browns need to be at their best to win in this game. Here we look ahead to Week 17 and highlight four players who will decide Cleveland’s postseason fate.

4. Ronnie Harrison, Safety

Safety Ronnie Harrison has missed the past four games due to a shoulder injury suffered early against his former team, the Jacksonville Jaguars. He will be back on Sunday and it’s not a moment too soon.

Cleveland found out this week they will be without safety Andrew Sendejo and cornerback Denzel Ward, which made a struggling secondary even weaker. Thankfully, Harrison’s return should give them a spark.

Since coming over in a trade with the Jaguars, Harrison has been an opportunistic player. He has 32 tackles, six pass defenses, one pick, one fumble recovery, and a defensive touchdown on the season. He’s going to be relied upon in this one, and will be a key factor in whether the Browns win or lose.
