The Cleveland Browns take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17

The game of the year for the Cleveland Browns takes place in Week 17 as they host the Pittsburgh Steelers with a playoff berth on the line. Cleveland enters the game with a record of 10-5, but they failed to secure a spot in the postseason last week against the New York Jets.

It was a game the Browns were supposed to win, considering New York had just one win on the season entering the game. However, things tilted in the Jets favor the day before the game when Cleveland found out they would be without their top four wideouts as well as two of their top linebackers due to COVID-19 close contacts.

Without Jarvis Landry, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Rashard Higgins, and KhaDarel Hodge the Browns offense struggled. Baker Mayfield had no rapport with the wideouts who did play and Austin Hooper, Harrison Bryant, and David Njoku at tight end weren’t able to move the chains enough.

Now, the Browns look for redemption. Landry, Higgins, and their wideouts will be back — but they did lose Denzel Ward and Harrison Bryant for this game. Still, the Steelers have nothing to play for with their spot locked up so they will have even more players out as coach Mike Tomlin has announced that the majority of their starters will rest in this one.

Even with that being the case, the Browns casn’t take this one lightly with so much riding on the outcome. Here, we have all the details you need to catch the biggest game of the team’s season.
