After the Cleveland Browns loss to the Chiefs, former bust Johnny Manziel had something to say

Interestingly enough, logging onto Twitter after the Cleveland Browns loss to the Chiefs Sunday to find former Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel trending was a bit interesting.

Manziel took to Twitter to tweet a “gif” expressing how he felt about the Browns falling short and being eliminated from the playoffs.

The failed Manziel experiment did not last long in Cleveland. The Browns were taking a chance on Manziel the minute they drafted him, as they were well aware of his off the field antics that were the main reason why nobody wanted to draft him. Unfortunately, when the Browns traded up, it was all too clear they were going to draft him.

Manziel’s career lasted two long and miserable seasons in Cleveland, as the quarterback totaled 7 touchdowns and 7 interceptions with 1,675 yards in his career.

Tweeting about a franchise that took a chance on you even with all of the off the field issues Manziel had just seems very ignorant in many different ways. When the Browns drafted franchise quarterback Baker Mayfield back in 2018, some called him “Manziel 2.0.”

Who knows, maybe Manziel took to Twitter to blow off steam because Mayfield ended up being the answer for the Browns, while Manziel was just another lost cause added to the long list of failed quarterbacks in Cleveland.

Browns fans are extremely thankful to have landed a quarterback like Mayfield who has proven to be the franchise guy for the Browns. In Cleveland, not having to worry about your quarterback off of the field is pretty nice, especially when he shines on the field too.
