Wide receiver room in for major facelift?

While many think the wide receiver room in Cleveland is established for the future, Berry may have to make some business decisions regarding the status of Jarvis Landry. Expect the Browns to add a vertical threat within the first three rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft, with the names like Louisville’s Tutu Atwell and Auburn’s Anthony Schwartz at the top of their list. What about their impending free agents.

Hall was already mentioned as a bottom of the roster guy who could be brought back, but churned. Hodge was mentioned as a guy who will likely get a tender as a restricted free agent as well.

Here are the other names.

Rashard Higgins

Year after year the status of Higgins seems to hang in the balance. Finally, Higgins has proven to be a valuable asset to Baker Mayfield and to the Browns. With the Browns looking Landry’s $14.8 million contract in the face with limited dead money, offering Higgins, who can win with more nuance anyway, a deal for half the price would be a win for the Browns. A deal for three years of $21-24 million total should do the trick.

Stay

Taywan Taylor

To be honest, after landing on the expanded practice squad this season, there may not be room for Taylor anymore. After two years with the team with next to no impact, the Browns may have seen all they need to see out of Taylor.

Go

JoJo Natson

Natson was brought in as a return specialist to begin with, but after his injury, the likes of Donovan Peoples-Jones and D’Ernest Johnson took over those jobs. Not only that, but both did splendidly in the return game, the first time the Browns have had that wrinkle in awhile. Natson no longer has a place on the roster.
