Cleveland Browns should be aggressive in free agency

Help for Garrett
No one in the league was double-teamed more than Myles Garrett in 2020. And while that is expected because of his talent, another piece opposite of him could do wonders for both players. Garrett still did wonders last season, but constant double teams are tough every play. It caused him to not be as effective and wore him out faster causing him to miss more plays.
Olivier Vernon started to look like he may be the guy in 2021. He began playing well and fans were thinking that a one-year deal could be looming for the 30-year-old to come back. But an Achilles injury at the end of the season would end all hopes for that.
With the middle of the defensive line in decent shape with Andrew Billings coming back in 2021, look for that position to be filled in the draft, with a chance for major spending at the defensive end position in free agency. While this goes against the grain for Berry (as far as spending big money), edge rushers are highly valued in the analytical model.
Leonard Williams could be the perfect fit for the Cleveland Browns defense. Williams has experience at both tackle and end, can rush the passer, and is a dominant run stopper. While the pass rush is a great feature, I get more excited at his ability to plug gaps and set edges in the run game.
There are other names like Bud Dupree, Yannick Ngakoue, and Leonard Floyd that may be slightly cheaper, but look for Berry to spare no expense on this one and go with Williams.
