1. Rashard Higgins

Rashard Higgins isn’t the best receiver on the Cleveland Browns roster, yet at times, he seems like the best receiver on the roster. Higgins always seems to find a way to step up in times of great need for the Browns offense and his quarterback Baker Mayfield, which is why Mayfield so often looks his way when the Browns need a big play.

Higgins’ chemistry with the Browns franchise man, Baker Mayfield, is the biggest reason he should be re-signed, and this time, to a longer deal than just one year. Higgins was also second on the team in receiving yards in 2020, trailing only Jarvis Landry, and also tied for second in touchdown receptions with four. Those stats help provide a good reason for him to retained.

While the Cleveland Browns shouldn’t break the bank to get Rashard Higgins back in brown and orange, they should definitely look at a deal that gets Mayfield paired with his favorite target again, with something in the range of $4-6 million dollars a year doing the trick.

Next. Browns should be aggressive in FA. dark

Whatever problems Higgins had in 2019 with the former coaching staff appear to be gone, and with him back in the good graces of the franchise and his current coaching staff, it seems like a no-brainer to re-sign Higgins in free agency.
