Cleveland Browns – B.J. Goodson

Finally, call us LeBron James because this is the return to Cleveland. Honestly, this is a tough one because I don’t want to see any of these guys leave. The ideal scenario is bringing back all of Terrance Mitchell, who played well throughout the season, Larry Ogunjobi, who had a down year but still managed to be productive, and B.J. Goodson, who was a pleasant surprise this season.

Mitchell played well down the stretch but with players returning from injury, there may not be a spot for him on the roster. Ogunjobi played well enough to potentially earn another contract with the team as well as becoming a personal favorite of mine, but I think his price tag will be hefty.

Since I have to pick one, I’m going with Goodson. Going into the season, I thought the linebacking corps was the weak point of this team. I was pleasantly surprised when, as a unit, they played well. A returning Goodson, alongside Jacob Phillips and Mack Wilson, could make for a very good, yet extremely underrated linebacking corps that could anchor this Browns defense for years to come.

Next. Browns should target J.J. Watt. dark

Goodson was a huge part of that success, and for that, he should be rewarded by another contract with the team.
