1. Corey Davis

One of the most interesting free agents on the market will be receiver Corey Davis, who has had a strong four-year career in the NFL but has nowhere near lived up to expectations after being taken number five in the 2017 NFL draft by the Tennessee Titans. After declining the fifth-year option for Davis in 2021, it appears likely that he will have a new home next season.

The good news, Davis did have his best year as a pro in 2020 with 65 catches and just under 1,000 yards to go along with five touchdowns. Not to mention he averaged over 15 yards per reception which is tremendous. Davis also had these stats with A.J. Brown as the number one target and in a run-first offense, meaning his full potential may not have been reached yet.

Like the rest of these targets, Davis is young and still has a high ceiling of potential, which could drive up his price. But Davis would be the perfect fit as the third option in Cleveland. In his first year, he would see limited targets but could shine on underneath routes and deep balls.

Not only that, Davis would be set up to replace Landry or Beckham who will be too expensive moving forward to keep both. Davis is better suited as the number two receiver but also can play on the outside if needed.

Because of the production from Brown the last two seasons, it feels like Davis has slid under the radar even more than the three names mentioned before as targets. With that, Berry will be extremely interested in bringing Davis to the Cleveland Browns.

There is no doubt the Browns need help, but the big question will remain on how much Berry is willing to spend at the position. It pains me to say, but Berry may be a believer in drafting a wide receiver early and focusing free agency dollars on other positions. Only time will tell.
