PFF listed their top 151 free agents this offseason the Cleveland Browns were involved in four of those predictions, which we look deeper at

Pro Football Focus recently released a very extensive look at the top 151 free agents that are set to hit the open market this offseason. For the Cleveland Browns, they found themselves mentioned four different times.

The majority of those centered around their own free agents as three current Browns were looked into. Cleveland was also considered a potential landing spot for one of the free agents from another team that’s slated in the top-50.

Here, we dive a bit deeper into those four players and see who PFF predicts will join the orange and brown and who might leave.

4. Terrance Mitchell, Cornerback

Predicted to sign with Browns for $8 million over two years

Coming in at No. 102 on the list, Terrance Mitchell is expected to return to the Browns. Some fans might not love this idea, but the fact is, Mitchell has been serviceable over the past two seasons. He’s not to be confused with an elite defensive back, but he is a savvy veteran who brings a lot of experience to the table.

Mitchell has 20 starts over the past two seasons and gives them insurance should the injury to Greedy Williams carry over to the 2021 campaign. He can also provide a veteran starter in the event of them landing a rookie who might not be ready to go right away.

This is a signing that would make sense for the Browns. Even if it’s not one that would make much of a splash.
