Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett is a freakish athlete, in case you forgot

Every year, once the offseason rolls around, we get to see how players manage to keep themselves in shape in the months leading up to training camp. This year is like any other but for Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett, it appears that he’s making sure his workouts remain entertaining and fun.

Garrett, coming in at 6-foot-4 and 272 pounds, showed off his athleticism in a tweet on Wednesday. The Browns defensive end is dominant on the field and appears to be off the field as well.

This video that he put out is very similar to the hype videos we often see from high school football and basketball players while choosing which college to go to. The post, captioned “You need a big guard [Mark Cuban]?”, comes the night after Mark Cuban’s Dallas Mavericks knocked off the Boston Celtics on a last-second shot.

Garrett, a multi-sport athlete in high school, is a native of Arlington, Texas which sits just outside of Dallas city limits. Along with football, he was a state qualifier for track and field and played high school basketball at James Martin High School. Garrett played on Martin’s Varsity team his junior and senior years of high school back in 2012-2014.

While Garrett was on the team, the Martin Warriors went 45-13 over those two years, finishing second in the school district each year.

This isn’t the first time Garrett has shown off his athleticism on the court. Back in January of 2018, a video, which you can watch here, aired on local news stations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of the former first overall pick sending a dunk attempt back across the gym.

From chasing rebounds to chasing quarterbacks, Myles Garrett’s dominance reigns supreme on any surface, hardwood, grass, or turf. His pure athleticism and explosiveness is what makes him one of the best in the game.
