The 2020 NFL Draft was a strange one. No longer were there fans booing NFL commissioner Roger Goodell everytime he stepped on stage, or New York Jets fans booing the picks of a random kid from some unheard school getting drafted by their team.

Now, 2020 was a strange year all around for the NFL. But it appears that things may be going back to normal, at least a little bit, at least.

The NFL announced on Monday that the 2021 NFL Draft would take place in person, and in Cleveland, Ohio.

The three day event, from April 29th through May 1st, will take place in multiple locations in downtown Cleveland, to include FirstEnergy Stadium, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and The Great Lakes Science Center.

The main stage will be set with Lake Erie as the backdrop, with the other locations being used for special picks, announcements, and other scenarios the NFL may wish to use them for.

As Covid-19 is still prominent, the NFL and the city of Cleveland will enforce social distancing and the use of masks for all attendees, including the players, their families, and any fans in attendance.

While the crowds may be smaller, and everyone will be wearing masks, you can still bet that the boo’s for the commissioner will be as loud as usual.

Cleveland fans already have a lot to be happy about, with the Browns making a nice playoff run in 2020 and making some nice moves already this offseason. You can guarantee that when the Cleveland Browns are on the clock come April 29th, and that pick is announced, that it will be the loudest cheer you’ve heard in a long time at a sporting event.
