How are the Cleveland Browns looking with the 2021 NFL Draft right around the corner?

With it looking like the Cleveland Browns have finished up their free agency moves, we look towards the draft. Obviously, the upcoming 2021 NFL Draft is a big factor in contributing to a team’s roster, especially in the first few rounds when we may see consistent starters. I’m here to give a very rough estimate as to what the Browns 2021 season may look like before any draft picks are made.

The schedules haven’t been released yet but we do know the teams that will be on them. For the Browns, they face the rest of the AFC North twice, as usual, they take on the NFC North in the cross-conference play, they match-up against the AFC West in conference play, and one remaining team.

With this year appearing to become a 17-game season as opposed to the normal 16, each team will face a team that finished in the same place in their respective division and a mystery team that we don’t know yet. For the Browns, since they finished third in the AFC North, they’ll take on the New England Patriots, the third-place team from the AFC East.

These aren’t going to be game-by-game predictions, each page has the team’s grouped by division and will have an estimate as to the record the Browns will have in each group. I might touch a little bit on certain games, that I’m more confident in but for the most part it will be estimates of the divisional play overall as it’s hard to predict every single game.

There’s no way I can predict any key injuries that may occur or any players missing games because of COVID-19 if it’s still around by the time next season rolls around, so these could very easily end up being completely wrong and I look like a total fool. But, that’s the fun part after all, isn’t it?
