With the draft approaching and the core of free agency in the past, now could be the time for the Cleveland Browns to strike again. Now is the time where the “discount rack” can sometimes move to the “managers special”, and the Browns could strike gold.

While general manager, Andrew Berry, has likely shifted a lot of his attention to the 2021 NFL Draft, you can bet he is keeping an eye on the free agency board. While most of the elite talents are off the board, there are still plenty of guys who are solid NFL starters available.

Berry has been busy in recent weeks signing four huge additions to the defense which was desperately needed.  John Johnson (safety) and Troy Hill (cornerback) were both brought in from the Las Angeles Rams to tighten up the secondary. Malik Jackson (defensive tackle), was brought in to sure up the interior defensive line and Anthony Walker was brought in to increase production at linebacker.

Over the cap reports the Browns still have over $13 million to spend in 2021, and with deals to Baker Mayfield and Denzel Ward looming, look for the Cleveland Browns to go all in this year to compete with the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The big question, what’s next? Do the Browns focus on the draft, or are they still in the free agency market? With a few holes still on the defensive side of the ball, don’t be shocked to see Berry bring in another starting-caliber player. See three players below the Browns still could sign before the draft.
