Round 4 – No. 132: Garret Wallow – Linebacker, TCU

I’m not sure what my fascination is with Garret Wallow, but I do see the linebacker from TCU as they absolute perfect fit for the Browns next season. This is a guy you can draft in round four, and I think he could be a big part of the defense in 2021.

He is a former safety converted linebacker, so his speed and coverage skills are both above average for a linebacker. As defensive coordinator, Joe Woods transitions to the 4-2-5 scheme, Wallow is would be the perfect transitional linebacker when the team wants to put three linebackers on the field.

He will still have the instincts of a safety, but the size and tackling ability of a linebacker. Wallow isn’t a guy that would be asked to see 75 percent of defensive snaps, but in the right situations, he could play a key role. With his size and speed, he could also be a huge contributor on special teams which is extremely important for later-round picks.

Round 4 – No. 135: Victor Dimukeje – Edge, Duke

From an earlier trade with the Packers, the Browns now hold pick no. 135 instead of No. 169. With that, they cash in with the ever-persistent Victor Dimukeje from Duke.

There isn’t much to not like about Dimukeje, he is consistent on every single snap and has been a four-year starter for the Duke defense.

Dimukeje is a strong player that is extremely physical at the line of scrimmage. At 265 pounds he has the size of a defensive end, but a skillset that could also allow him to play on the interior of the defensive line as well.

Dimukeje will never be an elite talent, but his consistent effort on every single play will allow him to have an extended NFL career with a chance of becoming a starter.
