1. Odell Beckham, Jr. from No. 13 to No. 3

Even when Peter King wrote the article about numbers changing, he mentioned Odell Beckham, Jr.

"“Multiple current NFL stars wore single digits in college, including Odell Beckham Jr., Derrick Henry and Christian McCaffrey.” — King, SI.com"

OBJ joined the Cleveland Browns in 2019 after five seasons with the New York Giants. The 12th overall pick in 2014, Beckham has 487 career receptions for 6,830 yards with 51 touchdowns. He’s always been an electric player who torches one-on-one coverage and makes highlight-reel catches look effortless.

During his time with LSU, he wore the No. 3, and once he joined the Giants he put a one in front of the number and has always been No. 13. While that number feels right on him, Beckham seems like the type of guy who would jump at the chance to return to his former number.

Beckham has continued to show immense pride for his LSU roots, even celebrating their latest NCAA Championship in their locker room with them. His love for his college would surely be a reason he could ditch 13 for 3 if given the chance.

Having said all that, if OBJ doesn’t change numbers, Kareem Hunt could be a player to watch for the No. 3. He wore that during his time with Toledo and could also be interested in returning to his roots. Of course, the first choice would naturally go to Beckham in this one.
