The Cleveland Browns are picking later than usual, but can still find some talent. Here, we look at the 3 best picks for them at No. 26 in the 2021 NFL Draft

The 2021 NFL Draft is just a couple of weeks away now and Cleveland Browns fans are still not sure what will happen with their club.

In years past, they have been looking at players who were top-10 prospects but following an 11-5 campaign that also had a playoff win, their club is now drafting much later than expected.

Barring any trades, Cleveland will be making their first selection at No. 26. There are a few ways they can go with that choice but here, we look at the four best picks they can end up with.

4. Greg Newsome II, CB, Northwestern

There was a time where Greg Newsome II looked to be a day two pick, but he has climbed up draft boards as of late. He now looks to be a player who could land in the back end of the first round, which makes him a prime candidate to land with the Cleveland Browns.

Newsome would be a great fit due to his size (6-foot-1 and 190-pounds) and ability to disrupt the ball once it’s in the air.

Of course, no prospect is perfect and Newsome does have some questions about his game. The biggest concern, however, has to be durability. Newsome never played a full season for the Wildcats which has to be a concern for the Browns who already have questions about health with both Greedy Williams and Denzel Ward.

Putting that aside, Newsome would give them four capable corners with Williams, Ward, and Troy Hill already on the roster.
