Ideally, the Browns address wide reciever sooner than the fourth round, but here we are. Darden did not test quite as well as expected, but he’s still a great athlete with good long speed and elite short-area quickness. His size will push him down draft boards, but it’s hard to argue with his tape and production. He caught 29 touchdowns over the past two seasons and is electric in space. He’d add a big-play factor and seperation creation to an offense currently lacking both, and provide a replacement for a certain expensive slot reciever in 2022.

Scouting Report. 4.132. 847. Pick Analysis. ROVER. Virginia Tech. DivineDeablo. player

Many Browns fans wish for Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah in the first round, but nabbing Deablo later on may prove to be a better value. He is on the older side, and didn’t test all too well. but Deablo’s tape is excellent. He’s a versatile player who can line up in the box, in the slot, and even rotate up to free safety. He’s not as explosive as Owusu-Koramoah, but he’s more fluid and agile, and better in man coverage.

Deablo’s instincts and processing are both great, and he could man the ROVER position in Joe Woods’ defense, functioning as a finishing piece on a revamped unit. Plus, he has an amazing name.
