The AFC North saw a boost of talent this past draft. Here’s a look at all of the other teams’ first-round picks.

For those of us who stayed up late on draft night, we got to see the Cleveland Browns select Greg Newsome, the cornerback from Northwestern. Newsome, a former high school teammate of Browns safety Grant Delpit, will compete with Greedy Williams to start opposite Denzel Ward this next season.

Love the pick or hate it, the Cleveland Browns had a huge need at cornerback, and they addressed it with the best guy on the board. Taking a look at what everyone else in the division did, it was likely a smart pick, considering how both the Bengals and Ravens drafted new stud wide receivers.

Each AFC North team should be excited about what they came away with from this first round. The Bengals selected Joe Burrow’s favorite target from college in Ja’Marr Chase with the fifth overall pick.

Baltimore selected Rashod Bateman with the 27th overall pick, the wide receiver out of Minnesota. They also took edge defender Jayson Oweh from Penn State with the 31st overall pick. The Steelers snagged themselves Najee Harris, the running back out of Alabama with the 24th pick.

These are some electric new offensive weapons entering the conference, and they will all certainly help test this new revamped Cleveland Browns defense. With that being said, let’s take a look at each of them and what they mean for the Browns’ divisional rivals.
