Rashod Bateman and Jayson Oweh, Baltimore Ravens

Rashod Bateman is a guy who had many fans here at Dawg Pound Daily, so seeing him in a Ravens jersey is going to be painful for a few of our writers. Bateman is an incredible wide receiver and is someone that I was shocked fell to the 27th overall pick.

Bateman isn’t as good as Ja’Marr Chase, but watching him go against Denzel Ward and Greg Newsome next season is going to be incredible to watch.

Greg Newsome and Rashod Bateman are likely going to be linked together for a long time, considering that they will have several one-on-one reps against each other and were picked right next to each other in the same draft. Bateman steps into a Baltimore Ravens team where he is arguably the best wide receiver already. Lamar Jackson needed some offensive weapons, and Bateman is probably the best he could have realistically received in this draft.

Jayson Oweh on the other hand is a good edge defender who will find some very tough matchups against the Cleveland Browns offensive line. He shouldn’t scare Browns fans as much as the other first-round picks in the division, but he could still end up being a very good player.

Oweh had some freakishly athletic numbers at his pro day, like a 4.39 40 yard dash and a 4.15-second short shuttle.

With his athleticism, if he hones in on his technique, he could end up being the best edge rusher in this draft class.
