How do Cleveland Browns rank in 2018 QB draft class comparison after three seasons?

Yards Per Attempt
"Lamar Jackson: 7.5 Y/A Baker Mayfield: 7.4 Y/A Josh Allen: 7.2 Y/A Sam Darnold: 6.6 Y/A Mason Rudolph: 6.4 Y/A Josh Rosen: 5.7 Y/A"
Another statistic that really shows how efficient a player is at throwing the ball, yards per attempt provides a good balance between quality and volume of throws. Franchise quarterbacks can’t be check-down kings and yards per attempt is one of those statistics that expose check-down quarterbacks.
Even though he had a long and successful NFL career, one quarterback who has always been notorious for overusing check-downs is Alex Smith. Smith’s career yards per attempt is 6.9, and he only averaged 6.5 yards per attempt during his time in Washington. Baker has been a gunslinger so far in his career, and with his volume of attempts, it is nice to see him in the mid-sevens for this statistic.
Poor Josh Rosen never really had a good offensive line in any of his starts, so he took a licking if he tried to consistently throw deeper passes. It doesn’t help him that his completion percentage was so low, either.
Mason Rudolph stretched the ball a little more downfield in his only start in 2020, which was against the Cleveland Browns. However, through his other eight starts the year below, his yards per attempt was only 6.2 yards per attempt, so his career number still remains very low.
