Andrew Berry and staff continue to make great decisions in regards to recent free agency news, and that includes never considering the Tim Tebow experiment

It’s without question that the previous 20-some seasons have been filled with endless amounts of questionable Cleveland Browns front office decisions. Previous staff members like Hue Jackson, Eric Mangini, and Romeo Crennel probably are three of many people that come to mind when thinking about past “mistakes” that continue to haunt the franchise.

Along with a hefty list of failed coaching hires, there is arguably a longer list of failed player signings. As fans, it seems as if the Browns hardly ever get it “right” when signing players (until recently anyway). This can often be linked back to those questionable decisions that were being made by the front office and coaching staff.

Andrew Berry is one of the few recent (within 20 years) front office hires within the Browns organization that hasn’t received much scrutiny (yet..).

So far there hasn’t been anything that Berry has done that would constitute an uprising from the fanbase. Keeping Tim Tebow as far away from the Cleveland Browns roster as possible is definitely something that Berry is receiving praise for.

With the long list of previous bad decisions and regretted signings that have happened in Cleveland, it is easy to assume that a Tebow signing would have been added to that list if Berry wasn’t running the show.

Keeping the newly transformed tight end away from Cleveland seems like an obvious decision, but can be assumed it would have been a decision made in the past. Signing a previously unsuccessful NFL quarterback, turned different offensive position, may sound too familiar with fans of the Cleveland Browns. As the team has served as a landing spot for a few in the past.

Luckily, Andrew Berry and the Browns have shown no interest at all in adding Tebow to the seemingly full tight end room.

Next. What did Cleveland get with kicker Chase McLaughlin?. dark

Andrew Berry’s “good” decisions will hopefully continue to be a turning point in the franchise.
