A Baker’s dozen: Baker Mayfield’s finest moments

Baker Mayfield’s top moments No. 10: Win Against the Indianapolis Colts
Following the Dallas win, the week prior, there were still some that thought the Browns were a mirage and their success wasn’t sustainable. Browns running back Nick Chubb was injured in the Cowboys game. Would Mayfield be able to do more and get the win?
He sure did.
He threw two touchdown passes in the 1st half and helped propel his team to victory even without his star running back.
11. The post-Hue Jackson Cincinnati win in 2018
After the Browns fired coach Hue Jackson early the 2018 campaign, the Browns were trying to find a new identity. Jackson, decided for his selfish self to head down to the Bengals and help out the Bengals team and his old coaching friend Marvin Lewis.
It was a complete diss to the Browns and to Mayfield. So the Browns went down to Cincinnati and pummeled the Bengals, jumping to a 28-0 lead early. There were a few stare-downs by Mayfield over to Jackson and the Bengals sidelines and the post-game handshake was as cold as ice.
12. The Kansas City playoff loss
Though the season ended for the Browns and Mayfield in this playoff game, it was another of many reasons why fans of the Browns are so excited about the future.
It was a rough first half, but Mayfield helped the Browns close the lead to five points late and had a few opportunities in the late stages of the game to get the win. It didn’t happen, but Mayfield was a big reason the Browns got to this point of the playoffs.
13. Those Progressive Insurance commercials
If you don’t like those Progressive Insurance commercials that Mayfield stars in now, what’s wrong with you? I’ll admit, when the Browns and Mayfield struggled during the 2019 season, those commercials were annoying. But now, that the Browns are winning, bring on more, please!
My favorite one so far is when Mayfield is seen deep frying his Thanksgiving turkey in a First Energy Stadium concession stand.
