3. Jordan Elliott, Defensive Tackle

Right now, defensive tackle is one of the biggest question marks for the Cleveland Browns roster. They have four or five guys who can compete for playing time, but it’s really anyone’s job right now after the departures of Sheldon Richardson and Larry Ogunjobi.

After being selected in the third round of the 2020 draft, there wasn’t a ton of expectations for Jordan Elliott, but he performed very well when called upon. He had great gap discipline in the run game and showed the ability to collapse a pocket in passing situations.

After seeing a limited number of snaps last year, Elliott will need all the OTAs he can get to be ready for the 2021 season. If he continues to improve, there is a good chance that he and Andrew Billings will be the Week 1 starter.

Elliott needs every team activity possible to master his craft and continue to improve. He needs to continue to get stronger and better with his pass-rush technique. With Richardson and Ogunjobi both gone, the biggest hole on the defense next year will be the interior pass rush.

If Elliott stays focused and devoted, he could make huge strides in his second year after learning the ropes last season. He is a guy I have high hopes for and could be a breakout player in 2021.
