1. Davante Adams

The first two players mentioned would not only make the Cleveland Browns more dangerous on offense, but it would also make them younger. Both Courtland Sutton and Michael Gallup are entering their fourth season in the league, meaning they’re just entering their prime.

That’s not the case for Davante Adams, who will be 29 years old when he’s scheduled to hit free agency in 2022. While he wouldn’t make them much younger, adding Adams would be a huge boost to this offense since he’s the No. 1 wide receiver in the NFL this year according to Pro Football Focus.

"“Adams was the highest-graded (92.2), most valuable (0.9 WAR) and most productive (2.96 yards per route run) wide receiver of the 2020 season. He is indisputably the top player at the position entering 2021. It doesn’t matter who lines up across from him — he’s a threat on any given play with his route running and release package.” — Anthony Treash, PFF"

There’s seriously nothing Adams can’t do as a receiver. He’s a defensive killer at all three levels and can even do damage in the screen game — something the Browns love to work with.

In 2020, Adams had his best season as a pro with 115 receptions for 1,374 yards and 18 touchdowns. For his seven-year career, he now has 546 catches for 6,568 yards and 62 touchdowns.

He’s also proven he can do a lot of damage even when there are no other dominant threats out wide around him.

Adams would cost a lot to add to the roster but would be well worth it. And with the Aaron Rodgers situation looking murky, there’s a chance he could hit the open market in search of a new quarterback who can help him continue to put up monstrous numbers.
