There’s plenty of hype around the Cleveland Browns team as a whole but these four players aren’t getting the attention they deserve

There are several players on the Cleveland Browns who are getting a whole lot of love this offseason – and deservedly so. But that doesn’t mean everyone is getting the respect they deserve.

Some of that could be due to them simply being a quiet player who goes about their business without making noise. Or maybe, they’re someone who didn’t see the field much at all in 2020 so they’ve now flown under the radar.

Whatever the reason, these four players below all deserve to be hyped up more than they have been as the 2021 season approaches.

4. Jedrick Wills, Left Tackle

There’s not a player on this team who was needed more than Jedrick Wills was in 2020. The Browns had a lot of weapons on offense but were struggling mightily without a capable left tackle. Sure, the addition of right tackle Jack Conklin was huge as was the ascension of Wyatt Teller at right guard, but none of that matters if Baker Mayfield still struggled with trusting the man blocking his blindside.

Taken at No. 10 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Alabama, Wills came in with a ton of talent but he hadn’t played on the left side. The transition took some time and was slowed by the lack of in-person offseason work but eventually, Wills came into his own.

He should be an even better player for the Browns in 2021 now that he has a year of experience in both the NFL and at left tackle under his belt. Wills was the first draft selection by general manager Andrew Berry and his play was essential to the team’s turnaround last year.
